I am a product design engineer. I design, prototype and build useful objects, and I share it all on my YouTube channelHenri DIY.

Why the MiniVan Kit

It all started from a simple wish: to set off on adventures without spending the price of a converted van. With a Kangoo, a bit of wood and good ideas, you cansleep, cook and eat without breaking the bank.

I started by building mine, testing it on the road. Then I wrote the guide so others could build it too, at their own pace, with the means they have.

What's next?

This is just the beginning. Eventually, I would like to offer:

  • Kits for other vehicles (Berlingo, Dokker…)
  • Accessories to go further: storage, rear modules
  • More ideas still to be tested, to make vanlife accessible
